How a gas torch is made
Short answer. A gas torch combines cast zinc parts, molded plastic shells and tanks, and small valve components. We cast, mold, machine, assemble and test torches in one factory in Wenzhou, with a current capacity of about 180,000 pieces per month as listed on our storefront.
One factory, five workshops
Our Wenzhou factory is organized as an independent R& department, an injection-molding workshop, a die-casting workshop, a testing workshop and an assembly workshop. Keeping casting and molding in-house is what makes OEM colors and custom variations practical: a new color is a new material batch, not a new supplier.

Die casting the heads and bases
Nozzle bells, heads and bases on most models are zinc alloy. Molten zinc is injected into steel molds in a fast cycle that suits catalog volumes. Castings are trimmed, polished and finished - plated or painted depending on the model - before they move to assembly.

Injection molding the shells and tanks
ABS shells, reinforced-nylon parts and the POM or nylon gas tanks are molded in-house. Tank walls and neck threads are the pressure boundary of the torch, so molds and process for tanks are controlled separately from cosmetic shells.

Valve and nozzle parts
The refill valve, flame valve and nozzle are the precision core of a torch: they set the flame quality and the seal. Small metal components are machined and sorted before assembly, and seals are matched to each model's valve design.

Assembly
Each model runs on its own line sequence: valve stack into the body, tank fitted, igniter aligned to the burner, then the safety lock and flame dial. Workers check ignition and flame at the line as units are built, so a drifting part is caught at the bench, not in a carton.

Testing and inspection
A testing workshop checks finished units, and camera-based stations inspect parts on the line. On top of in-house checks, the models we sell into the EU are listed on type-examination certificates: samples tested by notified bodies to EN 521 and related standards, with production conformity handled as required by the regulation. See quality control and certificates.

Packing and shipping
Finished torches are packed, cartoned and staged for shipment from the port of Wenzhou. Torches always ship empty. Across the factory, current capacity is about 180,000 pieces per month, as listed on our storefront.
