Long-reach gas torches

From the PropaneTorchs sales and engineering team. Updated 2026-10-15.

Short answer. Reach decides how far the flame stays from the user. Our propane torches run from 300 mm (GF-8011) to 760 mm (GF-8016); the longest suits weed burning, the shorter ones grills and workshops.

Choosing length

700 mm and up: weed burning while standing.
500–650 mm: grills, fire pits and outdoor kitchens.
300–350 mm: charcoal lighting and workshop jobs.
