Aluminium-body butane torches

Short answer. An aluminium shell keeps a torch light and rigid and takes anodized colors well, which is why it is common on mid-range and premium culinary torches. These models in our catalog use an aluminium shell or handle.

Why aluminium

Light for its strength, so larger tanks stay comfortable to hold.
Anodized finishes give durable metallic colors such as silver, gunmetal, purple and blue.
It feels more premium than plastic at the same size.

What to check

Ask which parts are aluminium (shell, handle) and which are zinc, ABS or POM. The tank itself is usually POM or nylon on these models.
