Torches and stoves for camping

From the PropaneTorchs sales and engineering team. Updated 2026-10-15.

Short answer. Outdoor retailers sell pocket jet torches to light stoves and campfires in wind, and the ZTZ-8020 stove for group cooking. The ZTZ-8020 has five brass burners rated 16.8 kW and boils 2 L of water in about 3 min 50 s at 20 °C.

Pocket torches

Jet torches hold 2.4 g to 10 g of butane and keep burning in wind where a match goes out. They are add-on sales at the checkout and in camping kits.

Cold weather

Butane loses pressure near 0 °C. Advise customers to keep pocket torches warm in an inside pocket in winter.

Group cooking

The ZTZ-8020 folds to 168 × 168 × 100 mm, runs on liquefied butane through a 600 mm hose and comes with a carry case.
