Torches for lab and glass work
Short answer. Where a bench has no gas line, a benchtop butane torch with a wide base and a large tank does small glass and lab tasks. GF-9263 holds 25 g of butane; GF-876 and GF-878 are listed on EU certificate GB 003869 001.

Typical tasks
Sealing and bending small glass pieces, flame-treating tools and small heating jobs on a bench.
What to choose
- A wide, heavy base so the torch stands while lit.
- A large tank to avoid refilling mid-task.
- A flame lock and an adjustable flame.
Butane torches are not a replacement for a laboratory gas burner where one is specified. Follow your lab's safety rules.
