How hot does a butane torch get?
Short answer. Our butane torches are listed at 1100 °C to 1350 °C, measured at the hottest point of the flame. The figure tells you how hot the tip is, not how fast the torch heats a large object.
Temperature vs heat
A small, very hot flame is ideal for soldering and caramelizing. Heating a large object needs more gas flow, which is where propane torches lead.
