How long does a butane torch last per fill?
Short answer. In our catalog, pocket torches burn for about 20 minutes per fill and most culinary torches for about 30 minutes. Actual time depends on flame setting, temperature and tank size.
What changes burn time
- Flame setting: a full flame empties the tank faster.
- Temperature: cold gas flows less.
- Tank size: from 2.4 g to 25 g in our range.
For long sessions choose a large-capacity torch.
