What is piezo ignition?
Short answer. Piezo ignition makes a spark when a small crystal is struck by pressing the trigger. It needs no battery and no separate lighter, so the user's hand stays away from the burner. Our CE-certified propane torches use piezo ignition.
Why it matters for retail
One-hand lighting is easier and safer, and there is no battery to run flat. It is the feature buyers ask about first on propane torches.
